Teachwell Solutions, an educational services nonprofit located in Sioux Falls, is seeing an Employment Specialist to assume and build a caseload of area adult clients. Duties will include:
Working directly with Vocational Rehabilitation Services to coordinate services for clients’ Individual Plan for Employment
Providing placement services, job coaching and follow along for clients
Researching the current labor market and openings; and
Networking, creating, and maintaining rapport with employers
Position requires a 4-year degree in human services, counseling, social work, education, or related field. Experience working with persons with disabilities preferred. Person hired will be required to hold or obtain CESP (Certified Employment Support Professional) certification. We are seeking candidates with strong communication skills who are able to direct their own work within set guidelines.
Person hired will need to provide verification of eligibility to work in the U.S. and pass a criminal background check. Teachwell Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Minorities encouraged to apply.
